The course contains lots of hills, with some balancing, weaving, splashing and jumping. This can all be done at your own pace.

Is this a COVIDSafe Event?
A. Yes - Adventure Dog has been redesigned to ensure it meets all COVIDSafe requirements, there will be smaller groups, more sanitiser and less contact with the Adventure Dog Event Team. For more information about Adventure Dog's CovidSafe plan please contact (03) 8756 1328
Is this an on lead event?
A. 100% Yes - Dogs need to be kept on lead at all times. This is important on both the event course and the event village. The alternative would be chaos.
Do I need to fundraise?
A. No - We always appreciate those who decide to fundraise for us at Animal Aid, but it is not a requirement to participate. Those who do raise funds will be elevated to the level of Fundraising Champions and receive a Adventure Dog T-Shirt!
How much does this cost?
A. $65 per person. An individual entry is based on the humans who have registered. You can participate in a team of two humans and one dog and the cost will be $130.
How long will this take me? Do I have to run?
A. We encourage all participants to take it at their (and their dog's) own pace. It is not a race and you can go slowly, have drink breaks or even a rest break. You can skip obstacles and do the course in a way that works for you both.
Can kids be involved?
A. Children over the age of 12 are welcome to participate.
What if my dog can't complete an obstacle?
A. No worries! You are welcome to skip obstacles or even sections of the course if your dog isn't keen on completing. This event has been designed and planned with Animal Welfare at its core. We would hate for you to put you dog in a situation that threatened their health or happiness.
What should I bring?
A. You will need:
Your dog with their lead, collar with ID tags, poo bags, a drink bottle for you, and a towel for you and your dog. Please wear weather appropriate clothing that you are happy to get muddy, it may be worth bringing a change of clothes or a covering for your car seat.
We recommend bringing a snap lock bag to put your valuables in to keep them clean and dry on the course.
